I cannot stand having to wait for the animation to finish before you can move around. It really makes everything feel so much slower, and I don't want to have to slow down how I use my phone because of these new animations. Really thought it was just a temporary thing, but GM build proved us wrong.

It's a GM. It'll be different in the final release. /s

Funny how tons of people used that kind of logic to put down pretty much any discussion of this when it came to betas, and now that it hasn't changed in the GM...what now? 🙄

Why not enjoy a moment of Zen in your life?

The thing is there's tons of other users who feel the same way.. so I know I'm not crazy, and don't need to slow down, haha

Wasting time on useless things isn't useful.

The aim of Zen is to achieve sudden enlightenment (satori) through meditation in a seated posture (zazen), usually under the guidance of a teacher and often using paradoxical statements (koans) to transcend rational thought.

Yeah, sounds useless.

I can see FakeClockUp being even more popular on iOS 7 than it ever was on 6.

And this keyboard lag on my iPad 4 is doing my head in!

Yeah, sounds useless.
Not what useless was being applied to.

If somehow you can even remotely get to the idea of Zen when doing something on a mobile device and dealing with pointlessly longer animations that add nothing useful...well, then feel free to enjoy the Zen. For the rest of us, there's reality to live in and deal with.
