Can the Apple Watch input for admin elevated changes on Mac?

I know the Apple Watch can auto-unlock a compatible Mac, but can it also be used to auto-input the same admin password for elevated changes on the Mac like MacID can?

Would be great if it did. The ingredients seem to be there... combining the tech behind Auto Unlock and the double click the side button to authenticate Apple Pay on Mac feature. Next year maybe!

It is a shame that Apple hasn't implemented this feature. It doesn't make sense to me why they haven't. MacID ver.2 is waiting is the app store review process. Hopefully, it will be released in the next day or so. I was hoping to use my new Apple Watch said feature. I will have to keep relying on MacID.
