As per title; can it be rearranged so that Devices is back at the top (as in Snow Leopard) and Places underneath?

Also, can the font for the sidebar be changed in size?

(ps also is there a new keyboard shortcut for 'find by filename' cmd+shift+f no longer cuts it, you have to drag the damn mouse over to 'search by filename')

You can change the font size in System Preferences -> General -> Sidebar Icon Size.

Haven't found a way to rearrange the categories yet though, only the individual items under each category.

The new layout annoys me too. I want Devices at the top.

Also, where have the Quick Searches (or whatever their correct name was) that were at the bottom of the Sidebar in SL gone - Last Day, Last Week, All Images, etc., etc.?

Yup, I'm another that hates devices at the bottom.

This is what I did though. Not perfect, but it'll do :)
The '----' is just a folder.
