Can you use the HomePod as an iMac speaker to play game? I mean, let the game sound come out from the Homepod.

It has airplay so in theory yes. But the sound might lag for a few seconds so it is probably not suitable for real-time audio like games.

I use my HomePod to play sound for me when watch a movie playback on my iMP. It works very well IMO.

How do you have it arranged, that is in back or to one side? Doesn't the lack of stereo bother you? How much better is the sound compared to the iMP? (I assume it must be much better; I think the built-in speakers are pretty bad for music, though I can tolerate them for watching Netflix).

I am also interested in knowledge how is the Homepod speaker sound quality compare to the iMac Pro or a Razer Nommo Chroma. I know one thing for sure, the Razer Nommo Chroma sounds significantly better than the iMac Pro. The iMac Pro speaker cannot even be used at all when you are running games at max setting, the computer will get too hot and the fans will spin so fast that affect the sound quality.

I'll try again, as I'm really curious about this:

-Behind the iMP
-Lack of stereo at this time is not bothersome
-HomePod offers a richer sound compared to the internal iMP's speakers
