Can the Mini be used as a TB dock?

Never owned a mac before. Planning to get the Air before Christmas. Might be getting a Mini sometime next spring.

Just curious if it's possible to use the Mini as a dock for the Air.

Searched the web but couldn't find anything related.

No I don't believe so.

No, nor any other Mac. They can be networked, of course, so you could use a Firewire drive attached to it that way, same with any USB drives attached to it.

If you mean connect the MBA to the mini via thunderbolt then use the mini's ports from the MBA..pretty sure that won't work.

You could put the Mini in Target Disk mode to access the hard drive but that about it.
