Apple doesn't list anything other than PC3200 for the PM line, but, looking at Crucial, I see a couple PC4000 sticks listed for the dual 1.8 PM. Would the computer actually make use of the speed boost from 3200 to 4000 or does it max out at 3200, regardless of the stick?

If it does work with PC4000, is it worth the extra money?

no, you will not get an extra speed boost from using pc4000 memory.

apple states their powermacs using pc3200 ram, anything higher than that (pc3500, etc.) will run at 3200 speeds.

buy whatever is cheapest.
