Can this be done?

I want to use my 12" PB as a desktop computer. I purcahsed the 19" external and keyboard and mouse and know how to set the monitors on mirror. But is there a way to leave the PB on the side and close the screen and still use it like a Mac Mini? When I try to close the screen past a certain point it puts it to sleep.

Any help??!

It will go to sleep when you close it, but it should wake up again when you tap the space bar on your keyboard.

If you have a keyboard and monitor connected to the PB, it won't go to sleep when you close the lid.
