My watch is giving me problems.


If I can get it to turn on, the battery runs dead within hours.

The screen flickers when charging, like in the video.

It kept giving me SOS prompts at one point even with this feature turned off.

I've tried setting it back to the factory, but this did not help.

at first glance looks like it's dying ...
what model? watchOS version? how long have you had it? did anything unusual happen prior to this starting, eg dropping the AW on the ground?

Exposure to water?
what’s the battery health?
I assume you do not have AC+?
If you’re near an Apple Store you could have it checked out there …
 
First step would be to either take it to an Apple store or chat/call Apple Support and have them preform a remote diagnostic. If the watch if throwing any codes, they'll be able to find out what's happening. If you're lucky, there's an open warranty of sorts for whatever this is.

My opinion, though? probably cooked. I wouldn't want to put a faulty watch like that on my wrist anyway.
