Having to be 21 to drink is harsh..

USA has the worlds highest drinking age, bar none.

In most of europe, 16 is the minimum for buying/drinking booze.

Some other countries (Poland, Portugal, etc) have NO minimum age whatsoever for buying or drinking.

Interestingly, the USA has many exceptions for legally allowing underage drinking.

Many states seem to allow underage drunkeness as long as it's done with a family member present, or on private grounds.

Yeah. 21, in my opinion, is ridiculous. In the UK you can drink with a family member (adult) buying you the alcohol and with a meal at 16.. and isn't it something like you only have to be 4 to drink in your own house if your parents let you?
