Can we cancel a pre order?

I plan on pre ordering a black iPhone just because no one knows when the white would be available, but let's say I pre order a black one. Can I cancel that one for me to get the white one?

Are you in the UK? If so, distance selling regulations mean that if you are unhappy with your purchase you can return within 14 days. Apple mirrors this. Don't open the box though!

My pre-order email confirmation has a cancel link on it so yes, it does look like you can.
