Can we change font color up top??

Is there a way to change to a black font vs the white when using a wallpaper that’s so light? Hard to see battery percentage, etc

I was thinking the same thing earlier today! Now I can hardly see the battery percentage when I click the power button but don’t unlock the phone.

I figured iOS would just adapt on its own and use a darker font for the info, but I guess not.

It does, but the way it does it is based on how much of the background is dark vs. light. It's not dynamic where it can change the font in the light parts separate from the dark, so it just does all or nothing.
