cherry point
I know that people don't have theirs and that sucks, but can we lay off of some of those and start posting about things that we see buggy or that may need changing? Or anything that matches what the other forums are mostly about?

We need to start being the tech savvy apple nerds we are and how better than discussing the problems we find so that when the "non fanboys" need help we already know how to fix a problem? That just seems more productive.

Anyways, I have noticed a few little bugs. Mainly using siri to ask for directions. She messes up some times, sometimes my screen goes black and I have to tap crown and tap back in for it to connect. A lot of my texts seem to go through to my wife in doubles.

3rd party app problems to but that has nothing to do with apple (except how they won't allow native but that isn't the problems I mean).

anyways lets start getting productive!

(flame on I'm sure, but feel this may be more productive than some of the things I have heard like "all these with watches can go to hell" and other juvenile comments.)

Cool story!

The same may be said about you starting a brand new thread complaining about people complaining.

Not really a glitch, but I do notice a few quirks with Power Reserve mode.

First, I will say that going into Power Reserve mode is easy and quick. However, once there, the "activate watch when raising arm" feature doesn't work as well. Also, it takes a long time for the Watch to wake up out of Power Reserve mode. It basically restarts.

It's been said in quite a few places that coming out of Power Reserve is just restarting the watch, which makes sense, it has to re-initialise all the sensors etc. As for 'activate watch when raising arm', of course that does not work!!! Power Reserve turns off all the sensors, etc, so how the hell is it meant to know that you're raising your arm?!?!

"I know that people don't have theirs and that sucks, but can we lay off of some of those and start posting about things that we see buggy or that may need changing?"

How are we supposed to start talking about things that seem buggy or that may need changing if We don't have a watch to post about?

The title of this thread could just as easily read "I got mine so S.T.F.U about not getting yours".

Well you created a brand new thread to complain about something not happening, when it was happening. I made a valid point, which is more than can be said about your OP....

sorry as the xanax had the better of me yesterday, but my point of this thread was that I want to start seeing the threads like "hey did you know the watch could do this" or "things you didn't know it could do" or whatever, just seems when I came on here to look for specific help the entire first two pages was just people complaining, so much so that they broke the complaining into regional threads.

people complain thats natural, I was just hoping we could start getting a few information threads. But my bust I suppose, gosh I am such a newb....

Well. There is not much to talk about if only 243 people got their watch delivered. Opposed to 2.43 mio people still waiting.

But there are threads like you're looking for. That's my point.

completely understand. Just really hard to find, even with search, when buried beneath the people starting a new thread every time the watch isn't there on the first day of the promised window (yes there are very early adopters getting passed for some reason but the forum members can't help with that answer).

I supposed delete this thread until we have enough room to start a technical forum. There are definitely still some bugs to work out, thats for sure

I've lots of threads talking about different problems. Siri, gps, alerts, heart rate... and on and on. You don't really even have to look past the first few pages.

If shipping threads are constantly up top, then that is what is on people's minds. Why should you dictate the discussion. What you want to talk about will naturally rise to the top once Apple gets shipping all sorted out.

Agreed. And even if there weren't, most people in the world dont have the watches yet... Just a very small minority do. Are you (OP) really saying we all have to leave the convo just because these topics no longer interest you?? No thanks to that.

yes that was my exact intentions...gees how much longer till they just delete this what has become useless thread?

if anyone wants to contribute, is the watch app store fully live? I find it very hard to get to even using the easter egg multi tap, usually just crashes.

Jesus Christ, if you don't want to comment on the thread then don't comment. No one here is OP's Mommy and Daddy, leave this stuff to the mods if you have a problem.

Back to OP's actual reason for starting this thread:
I love the watch so far, but there are a few things I've already noticed.

- The magnetic charger doesn't have a very satisfying pull when it comes to attaching it. I was really hoping for a noticeable "clack" type sound when it connected. Half the time I wouldn't even know it was on right if the screen didn't show the charging indicator.

- Clicking the digital crown does WAY too many different things depending on where you are on the watch. Sometimes it goes back to the watch face. Sometimes it goes to the App constellation. Sometimes it goes to the center. I'm not saying they are glitches, as I know it's doing what it's intended to do. It just does too much at this point, IMO.

- Battery life seems fine. Not bad, not great, just fine.

- I REALLY wish Siri at least had the option of audio feedback. It's weird that it's just totally silent and doesn't talk back to you when giving results. I get that some people want this, I just wish it had the option.

I think that blogs about bugs are important, but you can't expect people to post about bugs when they don't have the watch they ordered yet.

I agree, I bought a stand that has a tilt to it where the puck locks in. This way at least I know if it is charging because if it isn't it will just fall off the stand haha! I really to though from all the previews they showed that there would be a very obvious click

ok so from what I understand, if I understand correctly; one click will always take you back to the previous screen. if you are in like weather, it will take you back to the clock. If your at the clock then it takes you to the icons. If you are deep in a menu inside an app, it SHOULD take you to the previous menu up ( I think this is just for native apps as of right now) so think of it as a home/back button. Also again if i understand correctly a double click will bring you back to the last main app you were using. like if you were in weather, now in the clock, double click will take you back to weather where just one click would have taken you to the icon screen.

I am finding myself needing to charge without a doubt every night but I have been using it extra

I get that for sure, couple things with siri I have discovered. While notating text it may auto correct AFTER clicking send. Had it write some weird words that didn't fit in with the rest of the text and I accidentally hit send since there isn't a "redo message" option. When it sent, I saw that it change the two words that didn't fit and while they were closer they still weren't exactly right..

bolded my responses in the quote, couldn't figure out an easier way

This is the feed back I was hoping for, thanks for this and I hope that I gave you good feed back as well!
