Coming from a 11 Pro Max, it’s a huge difference. I used have have hanging loading websites and all kinds of issues.

For me... even in LTE, it’s just insanely fast compared to the 11 Pro.

I haven’t really had the chance to actually test it since the only time I get to leave the house for the last 1+ month was to do grocery shopping. Lockdown yay ...

I just hope it switches better than on my XS Max. It always took forever to flip from edge or nothing to LTE

It seems to switch fine on my mini. And I agree. It was a problem with some previous models.

Yeah I’m on Verizon and while I might not see 5g MW the regular 5g I do encounter is 120mbps at 30ms latency. Even normal LTE is up in that same range. Can’t complain with that!

Not connected to 5g yet but 4g is about the same as my XS max. I can get over 100Mbs on both in the uk.
I do believe that 4g over the years has slowed. Sometimes I think it’s due to increased network traffic but other times I wonder if they slow it down deliberately to make the next generation look better?

It might be more T-Mo than the phone but the areas where I had weak signal with my Intel based X I have the same weak signal with the 12 Pro. Also speeds are nothing to brag about. Sometimes a 5G download speed is barely 25+30 down. I’m in a northern Orlando suburb. Lots of weak signal areas around here. Hopefully that fills in sooner than later.

Disappointed in 5G so far. On Verizon, I have hit 5G spots quite a few times but only get about 100MB Down, the most I saw it hit was 120 down.

Yeah, I’m getting 2x to 3x the speed in my typical areas over the 11PM on LTE. I don’t have a 5G plan yet, but the LTE speed is a drastic improvement.

Qualcomm’s modems have always been fast
It’s great that Apple and Qualcomm resolved their lawsuit and are doing business again

Just got 160Mbps down on 4G with my 12 Pro Max
I saw 179mb/s on a speedtest once at home on ATT (Oklahoma). But not near that since. Day to day, not a noticeable difference on speed in an area that ATT doesn't even display 5Ge.

This is good to know when I upgrade!
