Can Yosemite run on 2017 MBP?

Just got a 2017 MBP and wanted to know if I can run Yosemite on it?
My current version of Avid is only compatible with this OS version and I'm trying to not upgrade the app yet. Thanks!

Yosemite won't run natively on a 2017 Mac, only in virtualization.

Or, return your 2017 MBPro, and get a refurb 2015.
