Can you add a word to the iPhone's dictionary?

Two questions
1)I know you can do it easily on my iMac, but can you do it on an iPhone

2)When you have a word that is underlined in red(the iPhone thinks it's mispelled but it's actually not), is there any quick way to let the word go thru as written other than to try to hit that little bitty X next to the suggested replacement??

Just hit that 'x' two or three times after you type it. It will add it to the dictionary once you do that.

I must have hit that little "x" button 100 times but it still wont learn how to spell hell. It wants to change it to he'll.
Its annoying as hell😀
