For instance, is your first name and last name available as a domain name, like johndoe.com?

Mine isn't and it's dissapointing. Right now it just points to a dead geocities account. It expires on the 27th so hopefully it won't autorenew and then it will be MINE!

Anyone else more fortunate?

My name is being used by a realtor, my husbands name is being used by a book author/trading authority.

Both my kids names are available though - I've thought about getting their names but it could be 15 years of just squatting for them and then they may never want them.

Mine doesn't go anywhere - it goes to a blank page and no, it doesn't have the "no server found" or anything, just blank.

I have mine :) never know when I'll need to open a fan club and start selling t-shirts.

$10 a year now is better than $1,000,000 buy out later  always thinkin...:D

hey mine's available! my name's kind of long though. i don't think i'd put my whole name. i'd have to abbreviate.

I own mine as well, and actively use it. It's not my complete name, but I know that'd be available to me as well if I really, really wanted an even longer URL.

Those of us with unique names have it pretty well when it comes to URLs. I kinda wish my first name was available for me to buy though!

My name in .com and .com.au is free. How would i go about acquiring it? Sorry if thats a stupid question...
