Can you use for instance SuperDuper in conjunction with an other backup utility e.g. CCC.

For instance, say if I used SuperDuper and I decided to change (for some reason,) can I then use another piece of back up software?

Once you backup with one do you have to keep on using it, or can you continue backups with another backup program.

Or say, if you use Intego Personal Backup do you have to keep with it, or can you start to use other backup software on a drive that has been backed up by the original software?

Thanks

Not sure I understand why you would want to do such a thing, especially with SD or CCC

With SuperDuper or CarbonCopyCloner, just delete your current clone and start cloning with the other product

OP, if you mean can you do a clone using CCC to an external HD and then clone from an external HD to another HD using SD, sure it can be done.

However, not sure why you would do this.

BTW, to have safe clones, you need at least two external HDs to clone your internal HD. If you only have one external HD, and during the clone process the internal HD goes, you have no backup. So get two external HDs the same size as your internal and alternate cloning between the two on a regular basis. I would suggest that weekly as a minimum.
