Can you change the default Calendar when adding an event?

In the Calendar app on MacOS, every time you add a new event, by default it automatically tags it as a 'Calendar'.

Anyone know if you can change newly added events to tag another 'calendar' by default?

Calendar, Settings, General... at the bottom you can set the default calendar.
