Can you change the log in wallpaper?

Hello. Can you change this background? I can’t seem to find a way too. Was wondering if it was set permanently. Thanks.

If you use FileVault, there is no way to change the wallpaper.

I’m not sure what that is lol. It’s a 2020 stock iMac 27”. Is firevault something that comes on the iMac?

Yes. System Preferences > Security and Privacy > FileVault < You have to manually turn it on. If it is off, you can change your screen.

Seriously though, OP is using multiple accounts. That Apple discussion threads has several comments stating that workaround won't work with multiple accounts or guest users.

I didn't delve into multiple account use. You may be right.

Wont hurt to try changing using file vault, the worse is you cant change the stock image
i always used background on the display settings.
