to watch the videos from your phone to TV
the wd has 2 usb ports
nope - there would be absolutely no way to do it.
that would be a nice feature to add
Yes you can.
Simply use your USB data cable and connect it to the WD media player. I use "Buzz Player." It's an iPhone app that enables multi-video format playback, [.mkv, .avi, .3gp, etc...]
The app has an "External Display" option which automatically connects to your TV and uses the iPhone as an external HD.
Simply navigate to your media storage with the remote control and viola!
Gotta love the people who instantly just say, THERE's NO WAY TO DO IT!, simply because they have no idea how.
i downloaded this program
but i cant watch the videos that are on my camera roll
thats what i want to do, with the wd tv player & iphone
doesn't the WD TV player have a component (red-green-blue) or composite (yellow-red-white) input?
if so, use the apple cable (Component or Composite) to connect iPhone to the WD?
yes the wd has the red, white & yellow ports in the back
can anybody test this out
