    Hey everyone,

Is there a way to preview/display the runtime/duration of a video file in Finder? I noticed that if it is a .mov file, then you can choose to display the file's duration in Icon view if you edit "View Options," Column view and with the Command+I shortcut, but with a few other video file types I've looked at this data isn't available.

    Thank you!

If QuickTime can't play it, Finder can't preview it. Installing Perian might help to broaden that spectrum a bit, though.

I have Perian, Flip4Mac and VLC Player installed, but so far none of the AVI files preview the duration info. Is it supposed to with Perian installed? And should WMV files preview this info with Flip4Mac installed?
