I think I'm a complete idiot then, because I can't find any batteries for the blacklight near the chair.
I still feel stupid about this, but three things that I am still stuck on:
1. No clue on the color button combo on the left box, I have the dice but it isn't helping me...
2. How the hell do you open the right box, I found the note with something about 10 seconds, but that hasn't done anything yet.
3. Are the blacklight and the laser pointer different things? Because I only have the laser pointer but have no clue where the blacklight is, I did find 4 batteries that I assume go to it...

Put on some music, it will help you think. The dark light may also help.
What exactly are you doing that isn't working? The note is spot on.
Yes, they are different and you have found the dark light's batteries.

What to do with those digits still has me screwed. I tried the safe thing but it doesn't work...Concerning the Blacklight i still haven't gotten that thing working either
did that. I got all the random letter combos around the room. I know it has something to with the paper from the brief case (also have how that changes thing up.
Open up the right key pad with it.
I see the keyboard behind the left one but still stuck.
