Just wondered, as I use it on the one m7 and would like to use it (if I could) on the 5s....I bet you can't though, having it would make life easier, especially on the keypad

Currently no. You can ONLY use the stock keyboard, don't even bother wasting your time looking for ways around it (hmm jailbreak maybe?).

Like mentioned with iOS 8 which will be out in the fall they will be allowing 3rd party keyboards so you are bound to see swype keyboard and other keyboards that allow swiping...
