Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

nope I was all impatient when I installed the invisible shield on I can't imagine a week without it

I don't think you can go one week with any multi- media device these days unless you were on sabbatical.

I reckon I could, I've gone for a week without internet or mobile when I've been on holiday, although I did have a basic cheapo mp3 player. which I probably wouldnt want to give up a way to listen to my music so that would be more important than anything else.

I recently spent 3 days at a music festival with no signal and coped with it. I'm sure I could have easily gone another 4 days.

Mind you, it's not that much of a hardship when you take into account I spent the first 34 years of my life without a mobile phone. :D

It wouldn't be possible for me. Calendar, email, everything is on that little guy. It will be a cold day in Hades before I go more than 3/4 of a day without it. Even while going on vacay up at the lake house, even though there is barely any Edge much less 3G up there, I'd need it. Which, tbh, seems kind of sad that this is the way my life is now. I've become 75% dependant on technology, and that % is still rising.

Also, I need my tweets!!! :)

As part of my university course I quite often go on field trips staying in amazingly sketchy hotels and spending full days on the beach (not as fun as that sounds).

When I do that, I leave my iPhone in the dock at home.

When I go to music festivals I also leave my iPhone in the dock.

I can manage just fine, I just have to keep myself busy and not think about those darn green pigs.

I went about 5 hours once when I thought my 3G died because the guy at AT&T told me I fried it from too much use. (Yes, he actually said that) Turns out all I needed was a restore.
Anyway, it was hard because I was out at a baseball game and kept reaching for it to take pictures, check the weather, etc.
I'm not supposed to use my phone at work but I sneak a peak every once in a while. Sure I could go a day, but a week would be tough.
