Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm upgrading to a iPhone 3G from a 2G and I'm not sure if what I want to do is possible.

I use my 2G iPhone with PAYG on AT&T and have the $20 /100 MB medianet package. I toggle EDGE on and off during the day so as not to use too much data.

However, I want to do the same thing on my new 3G and I see the 3G toggle in SBSetting but no Edge toggle. My understanding is that if I turn off 3G there will still be EDGE available (I saw on another thread this can help to improve battery life). So is there also a way to toggle EDGE too in SBSetting so I can control when I have access to data easily and quickly?

thanks,

I figured it out and it's kind of obvious. You can get both by clicking the "More" button in SBSettings and you can get to all the toggles.
