Can you hide the “home button line” in X?

is there any way to hide the line that always appears now at the bottom of the screen in apps? I get you swipe and don’t need a reminder in every app. Plus it’s annoying to see in some games. Not a fan so hope at some point we can hide it.

Not yet as far as I know. Maybe I’m time Apple will change its opacity, or remove it altogether maybe as an option.

I think for now, with it being new it’s likely there as a reminder for people to get used to the new interface.

As apps gets optimised for the iPhone X, developers will deal with that better. Don’t think Apple will remove it.

I read that developers do have the option of hiding it so hopefully most will soon. Thanks.
