GPS waypoints

I'm going trekking soon in the Brecon Beacons, Wales, UK and have a guide book that includes GPS waypoints data (pic attached below).

I can't figure out how to enter the waypoints into my iPhone. Does anyone know if the iPhone 3GS map can understand this type of waypoint data? Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance
James

So it would be like this 40.823655, -73.810994 or like this N40°49.4193, W073°48.65964 these are real coordinates in bronx,ny so try these out and tell me if it comes up.
I put in those coordinates (Decimal) without the comma. It took me to 93-115 5th Ave in the Bronx.

I tried the degrees method with just spaces as Stocktrader described in post # 6, both methods work just perfectly for me. FWIW.

Can you get the coordinates of where you currently are without any other apps?

Yes u can. Open maps, drop a pin, share location, mms or email yourself, when u get it, click on the link, it will open it up again in maps but this time with the coordinates in seconds format. If u want min sec. Multiply the numbers after the decimal by 60!
