Can you install Sony Vegas on Macs?

Only in Boot Camp, Fusion or Parallels.

In other words, not in OS X.

To my knowledge, there is no version of Vegas made for the Mac OS. But you could run it through boot camp/VMWare. or try final cut express

I would say go the Final Cut Express route, Vegas is lacking in features when compared to FCE (at least when I last used it).
