Do you need access to the work router to get the Ipod Touch IP?

do you have access to your router at work, if not, i would wait... even if you do have access, how many people work there? Might make sure you have the right ip address before you start throwing around SSH commands and SFTP'ing into things...

I worked as an IT director for a marketing firm of about 50 people and doing anything that would mess up anything at work was just a big no no. Also, what servers do you guys run? if its anything with UNIX on it i would just wait

Thanks....thats what I thought. I have a pretty sweet system at work but I will wait till I get home. I will probably wait a week until something easier is out although from what I read, its getting easier and easier by the minute
