As others have said, whatever you do, just draw. Something, anything. And no matter what, do not be afraid of failure, mistakes, or having your work look like crap. Making mistakes is the single best way to learn and get better. Just try to be a kid again and draw without abandon.

One good online resource you could consider and I haven't seen mentioned in this thread is Draw-a-box.

Waiting on art supplies so I can start the Nature Journaling class. I know what I need help with, and I am looking forward to learning how to incorporate the shading, color mix and proportions into my art. Also, to be more comfortable with traditional tools.

Her main thing recently, is wigs ... so many wigs :D Hahaha, specifically, she's into Cosplay, some of her creations (and complimenting photo/video) are pretty amazing.
