Can you lower your partition amount?

Lets say I originally give XP 30GB. I later realize thats too much. Can I lower that to 15?

As long as the partition holds everything you have on it, it should be fine. Macs try to make partition resizing simple.

You can't easily shrink it and keep your Windows installation intact.

You'd have to reinstall or restore it from a backup.

OP, your best bet is to back up, delete the Windows partition with Boot Camp, and start from scratch.

Use WinClone to clone your Windows partition
it is free

Clone your Windows partition
Delete it using Boot Camp Assistant
Create a new partition with Boot Camp Assistant
Restore your clone
