I have this really nice charging cable that's not Apple certified. I want to use it. The funny thing. I have one exactly like it for my iPod which works fine.

My question, can I get something replaced by Apple on it so it'll work? The picture below is the one that is the best representation of the one I have. It's just not Apple certified. Will it then be certified by Apple?

The odd thing, the one that is for my iPod works just fine.

No. Apple will not do that. They will simply tell you to find a cable that is MFI. You can always pressure the manufacturer you are looking at to seek certification.

I got one that ended up being far better than my old one that is certified and it's awesome. I think it's a foot or so longer from the non-certified one I had.
