Can you make an online slideshow with Apple Photos?

Hey guys, I'm looking to make a simple online slideshow which I can share with some family. Can I use the Apple Photos for doing this?

you can create shared slideshows. I can't remember if the other person needs to have an apple device to view it though.

another option is to export as a movie

Photos < Menu < File < Create

then you can add music and change the transition times - see clock on right side
