I have a few applications on my Mac that allow airplay. However when I go to my phone and point the phone to my Mac there isn't the option to mirror. Is there something I am missing or is this only for the AppleTV?

I have a few applications on my Mac that allow airplay.

What do you mean by that?

WHAT applications?

Do you mean that the applications allow you to redirect audio or video using Airplay to some other device?

Or do you mean some application that allows your Mac to become a target for AirPlay audio/video?

Again, WHAT applications? If it's the latter (target) why would you have "a few?"

Question does not compute.

I have a few apps like http://www.airserverapp.com/ that allows my mac to be the target. However it only allows videos. I want to do complete mirroring from my iPhone 4S and iPad2 to my Mac. Not just videos.

I have a few to test them out to see which one I like best.
