Every time my Mac does something wierd... i.e. taking longer than 'normal' to charge itunes or reboot. or running slower than normal. I always zap to Disc Utilites... and repair.
Seems to run better after, but looking back I seem to be doing it about 1 or 2 times a week... I have the same syndrom with pain killers... i'll take one just in case.... Is there any harm in this, for the Mac, I mean ?
OSX 10 3 9
thanks

No. Repairing permissions just adjusts the files with the wrong permissions. You shouldn't need to do so often, but there is no harm in it.
