Can you Pin Apps MultiTasking

Is there a way to pin specific apps to the scrolling area when you are preparing for split screen. As I would really only be multi tasking with a few apps, I'd love to be able to pin only those favorite apps to avoid having two scroll through every app to get at the ones I want.

No, currently no way to do that with the latest version of iOS 9.

I've noticed it defaults to whatever you pinned last and the most recently pinned items are at the bottom (starting area) of the scrolling list so if you pin a couple they are always handy.
