Hey there,

I'm looking at the Logi dock, as I want the speakerphone, the speaker bar, etc. I work in a small nook, and I don't have space to the left / right of my 38" ultrawide. However, I also want the TS4. I want it for the additional USB-C ports and the 2.5G internet.

Is it possible to plug the Logi dock into the TS4? To me, it feels like this should be doable, but would love to hear if anyone else has done this before.

It should work. I wouldn't use the DisplayPort or HDMI port of the Logi Dock though, since they're input is limited to one 2-lane DisplayPort connection (good enough for one 4k30 or 1440p60 display; 4K60 if it has an MST hub that supports DSC and macOS uses DSC but maybe HDR won't work). The TS4 can provide two 4-lane DisplayPort connections (two 4K60 displays 10bpc).

Thanks for the response... That's my thinking too! And yeah - my Dell Ultrawide supports VRR so I would like to get the best DP connection through the TB4 hub. I'll report back!

If wired network is not the requirement, I would choose Caldigit's Element Hub. It has 4x TB4/USB-C ports and 4x USB-A.
