As per title really.

I’m thinking of getting an X of some sort later this year and would like to put down more than the £69 if poss.

If I recall when you do a trade in, you in effect pay a larger downpayment. This shortens he term rather than reducing the monthly payment.
 
I won’t have a trade in as I’ll be upgrading on the iUP after 11 months (or maybe a few more, depending on when the release the next Xs’.
