    Just read this page http://www.iphonehowtojailbreak.com/forum/activate-ios-5-beta-7-without-developer-account.html

Is it really as easy as that to bypass the beta 7 activation? That seems crazy if apple left something like that wide open!

    Thanks

That's quite interesting indeed. I know that method used to work on.....beta 5 if I remember correctly. If that does work, I'll be a very happy person lol.

I'm pretty sure that flaw was fixed in the 2nd or 3rd beta.

Sure, as long as you have your old SHSH blobs saved.

Why do you need the blobs? Can you not just stick the phone in dfu and restore thru iTunes? Was sure you could!

Apple isn't signing 4.3.3 anymore. Thus, the need for the blobs

Don't now if it's been fixed or not but those are the exact same instructions that were around since beta 1.
Hard to believe that it still works in beta 7.

Ah ok, I'm still on 4.3.3... Not so bothered I restoring means I go to 4.3.5

Anyone able to test out the method in the link? Be awesome if it's still working!
