Hi,

I'm on MBP with Snow Leopard 10.6.1

I am looking for a backup solution that:
- can backup to a network destination
- doesn't backup to a compressed file (i need to be able to access the backup from another (Non-Mac)-computer on the network)...
- does both syncronization and incremental backup
- allows me to filter the backup (ie. I want to backup my Documents, but not files in a certain directory and not files larger than xx MB and not files with a certain extension)...
- runs in the background and can perform a scheduled backup without user action

Any hints?

Best regards,

I've tried quite a lot of free- and shareware products now.
But so far I only managed to get FoldersSyncronizer to do the job that I wanted...

It lets me do unattended scheduled backups to my NAS - almost without hassle (had to manually edit the setup file to mount my volume correctly). So now it automatically mounts my volume if not mounted, it stores my data so I can access them from the network.
Basically everything I asked for.

40US$ - I can live with that ;-)

Thanks anyway for your input!
