Search Inbox Feature (undocumented?)

iPhone – Search Exchange Server for Email older than what is stored on phone.

From folder view, scroll up. Between Inbox and First message will appear new line “Search Inbox”

You can select “From”, “To”, “Subject” or “All” (within Message)

Is this was already covered here, I apologize. I could not find another thread when I searched for "Search Inbox". I did not find this in the iPhone manual either. Hope this helps someone. This is one of the few features I really missed when I switched from an MS phone.
 
It seems to work on my IMAP server as well, unless I'm crazy. However, it certainly is documented. :)

Haha!I see there are two links:

http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPhone_User_Guide.pdf (213 pages with the Search feature documented)

The one I reviewed: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iphone_user_guide.pdf (130 pages without the Search feature documented - maybe this is the 2.0 version, but I do not see 2.0 mentioned for software version)

And now I see it on the website under iPhone how to.

Oh well...
