Can you software unlock iPhone 4 with iOS5?

Sorry my friend wants to unlock her phone for travel. She has a iPhone 4 who she recently upgraded to iOS5. Thank you!

Nope. The only baseband version that can be software unlocked on the iPhone 4 is 01.59.00.

there hasn't been a software unlock since 4.0 or 4.01 baseband 1.59 unless the owner took the care to preserve the early baseband. then there is no software unlock. only other option was Gevey sim and that stopped working with 5.0 as well.
