Can you splitscreen with youtube or xfinity app?

hi i am having trouble doing any type of multi task with youtube or xfinity app on ipad pro:

split view: i can't drag another app into the middle while watching youtube
slide over: video stops if i slide anything over - can i prevent the video from stopping?
picture in picture: is this possible?

Once they're updated for iPad Pro you'll be able to. As of now, they're just scaled up iPad Apps.

No, those apps don't support it and I wouldn't be surprised if they never did. YouTube is owned by Google and split view and PiP would make it better then it's Android counterpart. If they do I wouldn't be surprised if it was a dedicated YouTube Red app or something.

Xfinity is a bunch of *******s don't expect anything from them, AirPlay doesn't even work.
