I’m waiting on my 12 Pro to come in, upgrading from an SE 2. I’ve heard mixed things about whether iPhone can take raw pictures, and then process in Lightroom. I normally shoot with a D750 but if I could take quick picture on the fly, that would be pretty wild.

Also, what do we know about the Pro Raw format coming later on? Can you process it the same as when using a DSLR and lightroom?

Yes, just not with the default Photo App. You will need a third party, for example the mobile Lightroom app will shoot raw photos (DNG).

This.

Also, Lightroom packs a slew of great editing tools directly on the iPhone. If you are familiar with Lightroom on desktop, you will feel right at home in the iPhone app as well.
