Hi,

I'm curious if the dialing screen changes/looks different when you call someone that has an iphone vs calling someone who has an android.

Do the screens look different? Are any options, like face time, unavailable when calling an android user? Screenshots would be appreciated :)

No.

Your iPhones dialer screen does not change at all no matter what type of phone you are calling.

If you are actually looking to buy an iphone go to an Apple Store and try one. Plenty of on-line videos too.

The calling screens are obviously different btwn iPhones and Android.

What phone do you have now.

Actually, if you add the number to your contacts and look at their profile, there will be a Facetime/Call option under the main contact shown in the first screenshot. If the number is for an Android phone, there will be no such option (second screenshot)

The incoming call screen on a phone does change though, depending on if the iPhone is locked or not. It's a difference between sliding to answer (call comes in when unlocked and using the phone) or pushing a button to accept a call (call comes in when the phone is at the lock screen).

That's the one and only difference.

Unless the person you are sending a text to has turned off iMessage. The send button will be blue instead of green.

It's not foolproof, though. Some people turn off FaceTime and iMessage, and then they too won't have the ability to make such calls in their contact information. So even though they are using an iPhone, it won't seem that way to others using this as an indicator.

"Hi caller, by the way, which phone are you using, Android or Apple ? "

Who cares about which phone one is using. Silly post. What ever happen to the good old days without smartphones. Now we get silly posts. My rant for the day  ;)
