can you tether ipad 2 to pc?

i dont believe you can unless it is jailbroken even then i am not certain, this is why i went for the wifi model and just added tethering to my iphone 😀 i can leave it in my pocket and use for my MBP or ipad
 
Not sure what you mean by ”tether" to PC. if you mean if your PC can be turned into a wifi hotspot, that depends on your PC. If it has wifi network capabilities, theN you can create an adhoc network. Google adhoc network to find out how. It's not hard if you have Vista or Win7. XP, I'm not sure.

he wants to use the ipads 3g connection to make the ipad a hotspot for his pc not make his comp a hotspot.
 
I have a jailbroken iPad 1 which has mywi 4 installed. It is possible, although as you own the iPad 2, you'll have to wait until it has been jailbroken.

Right. I have a iPad 2 as well. No option to use Personal Hotspot. Its a iPhone only feature. 🙁
