Hello everyone. I'm sure this is a question that has probably been asked but search didn't yield any response.

I was wondering if you can update from the Beta to the Final version of iOS 7 when it comes out? Or does it have to be a restore? Or do what not know if you can or not?

I read in an earlier thread that Apple recommends developers to do a clean install... But I consider doing a GM upon beta install (too), just don't wanna lose all my messages nd stuff :)

You technically can, but Apple always recommends doing a clean install when jumping to final from the betas. (It's honestly not worth the hassle of not doing so, you shouldn't be running a beta if you aren't willing to do a clean install)

You couldn't update OTA last year but they might decided to do it this time.
