Can you use a Magic Mouse and keyboard if remoting in to a Windows PC

I use a MacBook Pro for personal use and to remote in to my Windows PC via Microsoft Remote Desktop over a VPN. I currently have a really cheap keyboard that will work with Windows and MacOS but I hate the keyboard, it is non-responsive so much it really slows me down. I also have a cheap bluetooth mouse that is losing its battery charge to the point that I have to recharge it just about every night. Will a Magic Mouse and Keyboard with with this setup? Are there keyboard shortcuts on the Magic Keyboard that will work in Windows?

I use a Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and MX Master 3S with my PC-based Avid (via Teradici) no issues.

You can re-map the modifiers and shortcuts to match the Windows equivalent better if you wish.

But if you re-map them, will you still be able to use it in MacOS when I'm using it for personal things.
