Can you use an iTunes gift card for the Mac App Store?

Someone gave me a gift card, and I would like to know if I can use it to purchase Lion when it comes out in the Mac App Store.

I have used iTunes Cards on the Mac App Store. When you redeem them the balance is linked to your Apple ID, you can use it on the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store and the Mac App Store

Great to know, I thought would have to save it for music/movies or whatever.

With the gift card in mind, Lion just got really cheap!
