Hi Guy`s ,

Can you use the new Apple OS-X Lion thumb drive to do a full system install on an external drive { i.e.: External Firewire 800 drive } , and then go to sys. pref. and boot from that drive ?

Good Question

In theory, it should be possible, but I'm wondering about path recognition, I'm looking to get my hands on one of these drives but as yet they are not available in Th UK

The USB stick IS bootable, so I reckon you could be okay🙂
